The Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Ofsted recently conducted an inspection of services available for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) in Somerset. In response, Health, Education, Social Care and the Somerset Parent Carer Forum are working hard together to address the concerns raised by parents, carers and individuals with lived experience of Autism and ADHD.As part of this wider work, we are holding a number of events offering to explore what already exists and what is additionally needed for the Autism and ADHD pathways in Somerset.
We are hosting a multi-agency event that will specifically focus on the current ADHD pathway and what is needed for individuals that have had an ADHD assessment.This event is open to anyone that wishes to contribute to children and young people who have had an ADHD assessment.
