Accessing support for children in Early Years in Somerset

We would like to hear your thoughts and experiences of accessing support for children who have Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities in Somerset before they get to school.

Our focus areas are the support from the area SENCO team (specialist teachers) and the Portage service. These services have been identified as having not been reviewed for a while and we want to ensure they are meeting local need.

We want to know:

• If money were no object what would the perfect service look like?
• What is working well?
• What could be better?

The sessions are open to anyone with an interest in this area to come together at one of 2 sessions. In particular we are keen to hear from families and setting provider leaders who are using these services currently or in the last few years.
