SENSORY, PHYSICAL & OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY (SPOT) Services 12-6pm

Providing Sensory (vision and hearing) advice, treatment programs and support within Schools, Home and other settings.  Alongside PIMS who provide training, advice and support for  pupils/students with physical issues that could effect their successful attendance in school/nursery, e.g. to advise about access issues, toileting management, moving and handling for staff, Evac planning and medication regulated needs whilst in School/nursery.  OT focuses on specialist seating and postural management, complex moving and handling issues/solutions, advisors to PIMS re complex access issues into and from school, health and safety advisors elements for some children.  Major adaptations experts and advisors – providing services in the Home, schools, respite accommodation, hospitals etc;

Home From Home Care 12-6

Created by parents to make the difference; Home From Home Care provides specialist residential care to adults (18+) with learning disabilities and complex needs, including autism, epilepsy, complex health needs, sensory needs, behaviours that challenge, mobility needs & PMLD and associated mental health needs. We design bespoke support packages and tailor environments to suit each individual’s needs. We use creative solutions and technology to promote independence, support individuals to lead fulfilled and active lives and build on the life skills that young people have been taught at school and college.


Rainbow Therapies 12-6

Niki works with children and adults of all ages and abilities; offering 1:1 or up to 10 in a group.
Rainbow Kids sessions and different  massage therapies.

Rainbow Kids-  story massage, basic yoga stretches and guided story meditation to name a few.

Aromatherapy

All adapted to individual need. Niki,s purpose as a qualified carer and massage therapist is to include all people and support young people and adults and offer complimentary therapies through play and relaxation to live a happier and healthier life in this fast paced modern life. Niki meets a small number of children in employed work which is why she is trying to reach others outside her now  part time employment.

Children’s World supports inclusion for ALL children through drama, performance, film-making and FUN!

Based in Glastonbury, Children’s World was founded in 1981, to provide educational, social and emotional benefits to children, with particular focus on special needs.

Children’s World delivers unique film, performance and drama based workshops in a variety of settings in Somerset and, occasionally, elsewhere in the UK and internationally.
