Core standards discussion group

Work has been taking place to develop a clear, concise, accessible & user-friendly framework that outlines provision for pupils with SEND in Somerset, and is in line with the guidance in the Special Education Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Code of Practice 2015.
The revised Core Standards will provide parent/carers, educational settings & other professionals with information to understand the type of support and provision a child or young person with SEND may require in order to meet their needs and ensure educational progress is made. As such, the revised Core Standards will support consistency in SEND provision across Somerset.
During this event you will get to see the work so far and be able to feed your views into the process. You can book a space here.
