Somerset Parent Carer Forum is a parent led organisation, with all the people leading our working having a child or young person between birth to 25 years with additional needs and/or disabilities.
Led by parent carers for parent carers
Our journey began in October 2012, when a group of dedicated parent carers came together, united by shared experiences, passion, and a commitment to improving outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
In 2016, we became a Community Interest Company (CIC), a step that has allowed us to grow, evolve, and better meet the needs of parent carers across Somerset. Today, we continue to support, connect, and empower families, creating a community where every voice is heard and valued.
