Over the next 12 months we are running 3 events to bring together parent carers and practitioners in Somerset to talk about SEND and Inclusion. You can book a space via the links below.
The event will have 8 themed tabled to discuss some of the key areas that we are hearing about from families. The are confirmed so far include:
- Somerset’s SEND Local Offer
- Using learning support assistants (TA) as direct payment workers
- Somerset Connect
- The Compliments, Comments and complaints services
- Process of Education, Health and Care assesments
- Support available for parent carers
- Funding for education including banding
The day will also feature a range of information stalls from local providers who work with families, so come along and find out what you can access.
There will also be a question and answer session with leaders in Somerset where you can pose questions on SEND and Inclusion matters (please note this will be themes not individual cases).
The 8 discussion areas will be replicated in an online event between 7-9. More details to follow.
